hmm, back from redang since friday morning but i've just been too lazy to update. anyway, my mum said i look tortured after the trip - ulcers, sorethroat, lost weight etc. hahahah. and i've darker legs too! :l
1st day:
met at 10pm at golden mile tower for the bus trip! bus trip was okay, couldn't sleep much either cos we were too excited or the engine was chao noisy.
2nd day:
reached the place at abt 8 smth and we had to wait till 9 for the ferry! ferry was a bit motion sickness inducing. haha. so anyway, after a dunno how long ride (we were mostly sleeping) we finally reached redang! the water, beach was so beautiful! =D then we got out of the aircon boat, and boy was it hot! anyhow, after settling down, we headed to the beach, had lunch, borrowed snorkelling gear, snorkelled in the shallow waters, snorkelled in the marine park somewhere else where we fed fishes and took photos. after that, back for tea, bathe change, dinner, karaoke, sleep.
3rd day:
woke up, breakfast, snorkelling in the open sea (where we got cheated cos we didn't see baby sharks and turtles!!), lunch, icecream, beach volleyball/touch rugby, lazing around on the hammock while others played banana boat, dinner, walked to some empty beach bar and decided to go back to our own resort lounge cos it has aircon, chit chat, sleep.
4th day:
woke up VERY EARLY, checked out, breakfast, speedy gonzales boat ride to some other ferry terminal to take a ferry back to tengganu (?), bus ride to some little holding place, polar bear game, walking around with shynlynn, bus ride to bus interchange, 8hr bus ride to KL!, zhong ji mi ma in the bus, reach KL, headed for dinner at some hawker shops near the hotel, watch tv and sleep.
5th day:
buffet breakfast, shynlynn's house to see justie (her dog), sunway lagoon, fight between sunway lagoon pple and shynlynn (exciting!), shopping at sunway pyramid, dinner at namly's recommended restaurant in Low Yat Plaza, watched a supposedly SCARRYYYYY #1 malaysia box office hit show called
Don't Look Back. CHAO LAME LA. we were mostly laughing throughout the show.. you could even see the strings attached to the ghost, and the ghost looked like it was flying about like yang guo and xiao long nu. :l i think it's worse cos we all expected to be scared out of our wits! fortunately, the movie ticket was cheap (RM9 only - about $4?). back to our hotel, tried to scare the guys with antics from the show mwahahha, and they tried to scare us back. :l
6th day:
buffet breakfast, pack up bags, check out, dim sum lunch at Low Yat Plaza (YUMMY and CHEAP), went to chinatown for more shopping! didn't buy much though, bought few tshirts for everyone, tau sa pia and hiong pia and a bag for mummy (which she can't bear to use :l). ohwells. headed back to our hotel area for dinner at some street side stalls, and then off we went to the sauna-like bus interchange. haha. bus ride back was short, and we were all so tired so we slept very well. oh yes, except for the dripping water. hahha. cabbed back with jianxiong and shaoyong. was in bed by 4am! hee.
okay, that was a VERY brief summary of what happened. hahaha. yup. okay, gtg prepare for my float meeting and swimming session with jt and qt to relive those snorkelling memories! mwahahha just kidding.
